The co-owners of Las Vegas' new National Lacrosse League team include NHL legend Wayne Gretzky (l.), Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash and pro golfer Dustin Johnson. The team will start its first season in 2022.

Among the co-owners of Las Vegas’ as-yet-unnamed National Lacrosse League (NLL) team are hockey giant Wayne Gretzky, Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash, professional golfer Dustin Johnson and Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai. Mark Fine has been named the CEO of the team

The NLL will play its home games at Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino beginning in the 2022-23 season. The Las Vegas franchise will be the NLL’s 15th team, reported Fox 5 Las Vegas.

The team has asked fans to help name the team with submissions at www.lasvegaslacrosse.com.
