Revealed on June 24, the changes include Jennifer Cronin becoming interim CEO of the Star Gold Coast property. She will serve in the role for 12 months while Star continues to seek a permanent appointment.
Cronin will also become a director of Star Entertainment Qld Custodian, the licensee of the Star Gold Coast Casino. She was previously president and CEO of Wharf Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels and Niccolo Hotels in Hong Kong.
Elsewhere, other management changes at Star include Rowena Craze being named as group chief risk officer. This follows a spell as group chief audit officer, with Craze having joined Star in April last year.
Patrick McGlinchey moves to the full-time role of group chief legal officer after 10 months as interim. Sarah Derry has also been confirmed as chief people officer at Star, with effect from July 1.
In addition, Star has appointed Peter Meliniotis as the group chief information officer. Meliniotis only joined the business in January as the group technology transformation executive.
