In Nevada, the Henderson City Council unanimously approved the sale of a 3.8-acre tract to Station Casinos for the proposed Inspirada Station, described by company officials as “an experience similar to Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Summerlin.”
Jim Ferrence, a consultant for Station Casinos, told council members, “One thing you may not know is there are over 2,400 of the team members from Station Casinos that are residents of Henderson. And so it’s comprehensive, the commitment to the city of Henderson by the company.”
He said the 900,000-square-foot Inspirada Station would be built in three stages and include an 80,000-square-foot gaming floor, 600 hotel rooms, four restaurants and an 11-unit food hall, 30,000 square feet of banquet meeting space, a bowling alley and a movie theater.
Ferrence added the project will create 1,738 jobs and generate an estimated $25.4 million annually. According to records filed with the city, construction will begin in January 2024 and the venue will open in March 2025.
