Strike Averted at Most Ontario Casinos
Strikes were averted at the last minute at eight Great Canadian Gaming Corp. (GCGC) casinos in Ontario, but not all. Strikes went forward on July 18 at Casino Woodbine and Pickering Casino Resort. All are represented by Unifor Local 1090, who say they are striking for better wages and benefits.
