Strong First Half for NetEnt

The Swedish online giant reported a 43 percent surge in operating income for the first half on revenues that were up 31 percent over the same period in 2015. The company attributed the gains to a robust product pipeline and solid relationships with some of Europe’s biggest operators.

Swedish online gaming provider NetEnt posted a 32 percent jump in second-quarter operating profit to SEK122 million (US.2 million).

The company attributed the gain to a strong commercial pipeline and relationships with top-tier European betting operators, which included a gain of 12 new customers during the period.

Corporate revenues hit SEK352 million ($42.2 million), an SEK83 million increase over Q2 2015, contributing to first-half operating profits that were up 43 percent year on year to SEK250 million on a 31 percent increase in revenues to SEK697 million.

In other news, the company recently licensed its Gonzo’s Quest slot to Project, which is releasing it on its Mi Games platform as one of the new titles Mi Games makes available every eight weeks.
