Strong November At Mississippi Coast Casinos

Mississippi's 11 Gulf Coast casinos posted revenue of $91.4 million for November, up 3.4 percent over November 2014—a three-year increase of more than $9 million and the best November since 2008. River casinos posted $69.8 million, a $12 million decline since November 2013.

Recently released Mississippi Department of Revenue figures indicated the 11 casinos along the state’s Gulf Coast posted .4 million in revenue in November 2015, a 3.4 percent increase over .8 million in November 2014 and a three-year increase of more than million. The strong showing boosted casino revenue to its best November since 2008. Scarlet Pearl Casino, which opened in D’Iberville in December, will not be included until the next report.

River casino revenue, however, dropped nearly $12 million from $81.5 million in November 2013, $73.1 million in November 2014 and $69.8 million last month.
