Howard Stutz recently joined Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment, Inc. as director of corporate communications, where he will lead the company’s internal and external communications functions through all of its divisions nationwide.
Previously Stutz was strategic development manager for the Las Vegas office of the Greenberg Traurig law firm and its Global Gaming practice. Prior to that, for more than three decades, Stutz was an award-winning journalist and communications professional, covering the casino gaming industry for the Las Vegas Review-Journal from 1987 to 1991 and 2004 to 2016. There, he was on a team of investigative journalists who earned the Sidney Award from the New York-based Sidney Hillman Foundation, the Ancil Payne Award for Ethics in Journalism from the University of Oregon and the James Foley Medill Medal for Courage in Journalism from Northwestern University.
