On November 6, Sun International Chile obtained a loan of 10,500 million Chilean pesos (US$15.57 million) to help capitalize its new company, Sun Dreams, which resulted from the merger of Novosun and Dreams.
According to Games Magazine Brasil, with the merger Sun increased its presence in Chile and Peru, where Novosun had two casinos and two gambling halls. After the transaction, Sun International acquired the majority shareholding of Sun Dreams, which will now receive a capital increase with the loan.
