Swedish gaming regulator Spelinspektionen has fined two licensees, Betway Ltd. and Mandalorian Technologies, for violating bonusing rules. According to iGamingBusiness.com, the companies offered multiple bonuses though regulations dictate that they “may only offer their customers a bonus at the first game opportunity.”

The new rule, designed to curb problem gambling, took effect in January.

Betway was fined £406,000 (US$520,000) and Mandalorian must pay £730,000 (US$93,000).
