Sycamore Opens At Indigo Sky Casino

The $34 million Sycamore hotel tower recently opened at the Indigo Sky Casino in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, operated by the Eastern Shawnee Tribe. With 127 rooms, conference rooms, a ballroom and banquet center, the new facility created 45 jobs. Indigo sky now offers a total of 244 rooms, including the original Red Bud hotel tower.

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma announced it recently opened a second, million hotel tower at its Indigo Sky Casino in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Named the Sycamore, the facility offers 127 guest rooms, two executive suits, conference rooms, a ballroom and banquet center. The project created 45 new permanent jobs. Assistant General Manager Melanie Chase said the new hotel is “a significant day for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.”

Along with the original Red Bud hotel tower, the property now offers a total of 244 guest rooms, Chase said.

Besides the Indigo Sky, which opened in 2012, the tribe owns and operates three gaming venues.

The Eastern Shawnee recently received an $800,000 grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a shooting range and training center that may be built on 75 acres of tribal land.
