Group now has three VIP rooms in the capital
Macau junket investor Tak Chun Group opened a new five-room VIP gaming club at Okada Manila in the Philippines on March 20, reported GGRAsia.
The high-roller club is Tak Chun’s third VIP club in the city and offers 18 gaming tables and. The investor also promotes clubs at Solaire Resort and Casino, a Bloomberry Resorts property, and one at City of Dreams Manila, operated by a unit of Asian casino investor Melco Resorts and Entertainment Ltd.
Okada Manila is operated by a unit of Japanese gaming conglomerate Universal Entertainment Corp., which says the “start of full-scale operations of a VIP casino” is “expected to make a big contribution to sales” this year.
Okada Manila opened in December 2016. Brokerage Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd. predicts the newest resort in Manila’s Entertainment City will siphon market share from the three established private-sector gaming resorts in the casino zone.
