TCSJohnHuxley Expands Blaze

London-based table game supplier TCSJohnHuxley unveiled an expansion to its product line of Blaze LED surface technology at the recent G2E Asia trade show. Blaze provides a casino with a table surface that can be changed to several different games, eliminating the need to change felt surfaces.

At G2E Asia, TCSJohnHuxley introduced the baccarat version of Blaze, which joins a product line already including roulette, sic bo, “Money Wheel” and craps.

“Baccarat is one of the biggest games in Asia, so it made sense for us to develop Blaze for baccarat,” said Mark Howell, TCSJohnHuxley’s head of sales for Asia Pacific, in an interview with GGRAsia. “The reason we do Blaze is because it adds a unique element of style and elegance to the table and enhances players’ gaming experience.”

“This is a first prototype,” Howell said of Blaze Baccarat. “We have a number of projects that will go ahead quite soon in the Philippines, Singapore and other markets shortly after. There is also a lot of interest from the Macau market, and we’re currently developing it for specific customers.”

TCSJohnHuxley also launched its eight-player Qorex carousel product at the trade show, available via either the 23-inch or 27-inch version of the firm’s Qorex electronic gaming terminal and incorporating 65-inch overhead screens.

“Qorex is a very interesting and exciting product for us,” Howell told GGRAsia. “TCSJohnHuxley has been in the live gaming space for many, many decades and in more recent years we started providing much more advanced technology and systems into the market,” he said. “In terms of electronic table games, it was a natural progression for us to move into that space, and this product offers some unique features.”
