A technology issue was the cause of the shutdown of the gaming floor at Bally’s Evansville in Indiana on Monday, October 18, casino officials said. It reopened late Tuesday morning.

Bally Corp. Executive Director of Public Relations Diane Spiers said, “Due to a hardware system outage, we temporarily suspended our casino operations on Monday. We are now open for business and look forward to continuing to provide a world-class entertainment destination for our guests.”

The property recently officially unveiled its rebrand from Tropicana Evansville to Bally’s Evansville, reflecting the ownership transfer from Caesar’s Entertainment to Twin River Worldwide Holdings.
