TGG Enters Cambodia

Hong Kong-based TGG Takara Gaming Group, an open-source and interactive gaming platform, has announced two partnerships that will mark its entry into the Cambodian gaming market.

Part of larger expansion plan

TGG Takara Gaming Group, which describes itself as the world’s first open-source gaming platform, has announced partnerships with two leading local casino groups in Cambodia: Golden Crown in Poipet and Superrich in Sihanoukville.

According to a statement from TGG co-founder and CEO Raymond Chan, the company is weighing its prospects in the overall Southeast Asia casino market and Cambodia is just the first jurisdiction in its expansion plan.

“TGG is eyeing the potential of Southeast Asia,” said Chan. “Much of the new growth has come from Chinese visitors, the major reason behind this due to the booming of the economy in the Asian regions and therefore increased the Asian players rapidly. We are exciting to make our first gateway into Cambodia through this deployment with the two leading local casinos. It definitely marks another milestone for TGG in the East Asia market.”

TGG develops new slot, bingo and skill-based casino games. It currently has 17 partners and 200 gaming titles pending deployment to 13 casinos in 10 countries around Korea, Singapore, Europe and Latin America, according to reports.
