Three Promoted At Mesquite Gaming

At Mesquite Gaming in Nevada, Corporate General Manager Scott Singer (l.) has been promoted to corporate director of operations, Director of Casino and Hotel Marketing Operations Julia Abouzeid to general manager at Casablanca Resort and Executive Casino Host Brad Conklin to casino marketing manager at Casablanca and Virgin River Hotel & Casino.

Mesquite Gaming, owner of Virgin River Hotel & Casino and Casablanca Resort Casino in Mesquite, Nevada recently announced three promotions: Scott Singer to corporate director of operations, Julia Abouzeid to general manager at Casablanca Resort and Brad Conklin to casino marketing manager at both casino properties, effective immediately.

Singer, a 32-year hospitality industry veteran, Singer joined Mesquite Gaming in 2013. He has served as assistant general manager for both Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel and most recently was corporate general manager for both properties. In his new role he will oversee operations at both hotel-casinos and also the Palms and Casablanca Golf Clubs.

Abouzeid, who joined Mesquite Gaming more than four years ago, brings more than 26 years of gaming and hospitality experience to his new position. She has served as director of casino marketing and most recently was director of hotel and casino marketing operations. Abouzeid will oversee day-to-day operations at Casablanca Resort in her new position.

Conklin most recently served as executive casino host. In his new role, he will oversee the Players Club and continue to assist with special events, slot tournaments and slot floor promotions at both Mesquite Gaming properties.
