SkyCity Adelaide has announced that it is the first Australian casino to offer a new baccarat variant called Tiger Baccarat.

The game features an array of side bets in addition to the traditional base game, with the Adelaide launch timed to coincide with SkyCity’s Lunar New Year celebrations, the company said.

“We are pleased to be able to exclusively offer Tiger Baccarat in Australia on the back of its incredible popularity across Asia,” said SkyCity Adelaide General Manager of Table Games Ash Azad.

“We are committed to offering our customers the widest and most exciting range of table games in Australia. Tiger Baccarat provides players with a multitude of exciting and new wagering options based on results incorporating tie, pairs and outcomes of 6, while still maintaining all the features of classic baccarat’s core wagering options.”

SkyCity Adelaide is set to complete an AU$330 million expansion in October, adding a 120-room luxury hotel, VIP gaming facilities, restaurants and bars including a rooftop bar, spa and wellness center and conference and function facilities.
