Tiger Palace Plans 3 New VIP Rooms

Foot traffic more than doubles

Australia-listed casino operator Silver Heritage Group Ltd. has announced that it will open three new VIP gaming rooms at its Tiger Palace in Bhairahawa, Nepal.

The move was motivated by brisk action at the resort, including a 110 percent increase in table drop for January and a 142 percent uptick in total visitation. According to Inside Asian Gaming, it was the first month since the resort opened in December 2017 that it’s posted comparative year-on-year results.

Through January 29, Silver Heritage reported table drop of US$2.1 million compared to US$1 million in January 2018. Foot traffic increased from about 4,400 to more than 10,500.

“Drop continues to improve with December and January being the second and third highest months respectively since the casino opened on 28 December 2017,” Silver Heritage said.
