Tinian and Aguiguan Governor Ralph Torres has signed a bill that revises the Tinian Casino Gaming Control Act to allow online gaming.

The bill allows for online gambling sponsored by land-based casino hotels on the island and requires geo-location software to limit players to those physically in the jurisdiction. Operating internet gaming is conditioned on having a hotel with 300 units and an operational hotel-casino complex on the island.

License fees were set at $500,000 for a casino license and additional $300,000 for online gaming. It sets taxes on online gambling revenue at five percent.
