Todd Stewart has been named general manager at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. Stewart, a 30-year veteran of the gaming and hospitality industry, will oversee all aspects of the resort’s administrative functions and activities, including personnel, procurement, finance, records and property management systems and compliance with tribal, federal, state and gaming commission requirements.
Stewart served as Coushatta’s interim general manager since June 2021. He joined the property as chief financial officer in October 2020. Previously he worked at the corporate and property level at a publicly traded regional gaming operator and at tribal gaming operations.
Coushatta Tribal Chairman Jonathan Cernek said, “We are excited to see Todd Stewart embrace the challenge of leading Louisiana’s premier gaming resort.
