The MGM Springfield, which will open in September, announced last week that one of the entertainment options it will offer is “Topgolf Swing Suite” a 2,800 square foot suite within the casino that will offer three golf simulators. This will be the first Topgolf simulator to locate in New England.
Sarah Moore, vice president of marketing and retail for the casino, commented, “It provides golf enthusiasts with year-round golf play. No longer will golf enthusiasts be at the mercy of the seasons and the weather.”
Visitors will be able to play in groups or sit at the bar and lounge adjacent to players.
MGM Springfield President Michael Mathis alluded to the casino resort’s goal to become something more than a gambling mecca. “With entertainment experiences that can’t be found elsewhere, our resort should become the go-to place no matter what kind of evening you are looking for,” he said. “Those familiar with Topgolf already know how much fun is in store; and for those new to the experience – just wait. This is sure to be one of the most exciting corners of our resort.”
The only Topgolf facility in Las Vegas operates behind the MGM Grand on the Strip.
