Topping-Out Held At Delta Downs

Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel in Vinton, Louisiana recently held a topping-out ceremony for its $45 million expansion project, including a nine-story, 167-room hotel tower, fitness center, pool and restaurant. The existing hotel's 203 rooms and suites also will be renovated. The project will be completed in December.

A topping-out ceremony recently was held at Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel in Vinton, Louisiana. Owned by Boyd Gaming, the million expansion project will include a nine-story, 167-room tower, fitness center, pool and restaurant. The property’s existing 203 hotel rooms and suites also will be remodeled. The project is expected to be completed in December.

Rosewater Grill & Tavern, which opened last February, marked the first phase of the expansion. Upon completion, the property also will offer two fine dining restaurants, buffet, food court and coffee bar, entertainment center, VIP lounge and gift shop.

Delta Downs Vice President and General Manager Steve Kuypers said, “We couldn’t be happier about reaching another milestone in our expansion project.
