SAHARA Las Vegas recently named 16-year gaming and hospitality industry veteran Michael Tozzi as vice president of marketing. In his new position, Tozzi will develop and oversee all aspects of SAHARA Las Vegas’ brand marketing strategy, including paid media, database marketing, social media, website, public relations and on-property assets at the iconic Las Vegas Strip resort, which recently completed a $200 million renovation.
Previously, Tozzi served as vice president of brand marketing and advertising at Drew Las Vegas and Resorts World Las Vegas. He also was vice president of brand marketing at MGM Resorts International, vice president of brand strategy at ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa and director of marketing and advertising at the Mirage Hotel & Casino, where he attended the Leadership Institute and was named a Diversity Champion.
A native of Rhode Island, Tozzi earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Rhode Island.
