Travis Woltermann Named VP of Operations for Golden Route Operations Montana

Golden Entertainment Inc. has named Travis Woltermann vice president of operations for the company’s Golden Route Operations Montana subsidy. He will be in charge of relations with bars and casinos for the company, which manages 2,900 machines throughout the state.

Travis Woltermann has been named vice president of operations for Golden Entertainment Inc.’s Golden Route Operations Montana, which is a gaming subsidiary in Montana, based in Billings.

Woltermann, 41, has been in the gaming industry eight years and 20 years in the customer service industry. He joined Golden Route Operations Montana in 2016. He also spent ten years with a beer distribution company.

In his new job Woltermann will be in charge of relationships with bar and casino partners, while seeking to expand its operations. It manages about 2,900 slot machines in 290 locations.

The new vice president of operations commented, “Montana presents a tremendous opportunity for Golden’s experience in operating distributed gaming and I appreciate the support from the company for allowing me to take on the role.”

The previous vice president, Tim Carson, will become a sales executive for the Montana division.
