TribalNet, Bulletproof Announce Cybersecurity Partnership

TribalValue has entered into an agreement with GLI subsidiary Bulletproof to offer cybersecurity counseling and services and education on cybercrime tactics.

TribalValue, part of the Native American gaming organization TribalHub, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Bulletproof, a division of Gaming Laboratories International, for education and counseling on cybersecurity methods.

Bulletproof representatives discussed the issues with attendees at last week’s TribalNet conference at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Bulletproof experts performed a one-on-one 30-minute Security Aware demo covering cybercrime targets and tactics.

“The modern gaming industry (isn’t) a game,” Melissa Aarskaug, Bulletproof’s vice president of business development for the U.S., said in a statement. “We work to streamline IT (and) help keep the game fair and secure, and ensure that your processes and infrastructures set you up to succeed.

“(Bulletproof) offers a variety of specialized services, including security ops, IT & cybersecurity, education services, quality assurance and testing, and governance, risk and compliance.”

For nearly three decades, GLI has worked closely with tribal gaming enterprises across the U.S. and Canada. In that time, Bulletproof has performed hundreds of cybersecurity assessments for the gaming industry.
