Officials at Trop Greenville in historic Greenville, Mississippi, located next to the Mississippi River, announced the property’s million expansion is ahead of schedule and will open Friday, October 10. The expansion will include 300 additional slots, including a high-limit area, bringing the total to 600-plus, as well as new table games including Mississippi Stud, Free Bet blackjack variation and single dealer craps, bringing the total to 12.
Other new amenities will include Max & Erma’s full-service casual dining restaurant chain, a new VIP lounge, a live entertainment area and a 140-space underground parking garage for premium players. The property includes a 40-room boutique hotel.
The project has created 300 construction jobs and 120 permanent new jobs.
