Tropicana Atlantic City announced the completion of $40 million in renovations, which included renovations to some hotel rooms, a new high-limit slot area and a new nightclub. Tropicana Entertainment also announced it will re-open the Sultan’s Buffet at its recently acquired Trump Taj Mahal.

Tropicana Atlantic City completed million in renovations in time for the busy summer season in the seaside resort.

“Tropicana has never looked better! The refreshed spaces and new amenities offer our customers exciting upgrades, while still offering the same great value they have come to expect from Tropicana,” said Steve Callender, General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City. “Everywhere you look, there’s something new to discover.”

Here’s a look at the new features:

Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss a Go-Go

Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss a Go-Go is Atlantic City’s newest nightclub experience. Club-goers will be amazed at this trip down the rabbit hole into the neon-fueled nights of Bangkok, complete with bottle service, dancers in virtual cages, and a kaleidoscope of mind-blowing lip imagery.

High-Limit Slot Area

Located just off Palm Walk, Tropicana has created a stylish and inviting environment for the premium slot player. Amenities include a private concierge, restrooms and hundreds of the most in-demand high-denomination slot games.

Pacific Avenue Entrance

Adjacent to the hotel lobby, Tropicana has created an entirely new entrance from Pacific Avenue, complete with Luxe, a full-service salon; Trop Advantage Rewards Center, a beautiful new area where players can pick up their gifts and rewards; and the Corner Market, the first store on Pacific Avenue connected to a casino.

Luxe Salon

Conveniently located in Tropicana’s all-new Pacific Avenue entrance just off the hotel lobby, Luxe is a modern, high-concept salon delivering an exceptional experience and outstanding results for men and women. Luxe offers a full menu of salon services including hair design and styling, texturizing treatments, blow-outs, restorative hair treatments and color services. Luxe also offers nail care, body waxing and grooming services. Luxe Salon will open its doors June 20, pending all necessary approvals.

Corner Market

The Corner Market is located at the new Pacific Avenue entrance, just off the South Tower hotel lobby. It offers the convenience of grab-n-go items including lunch and breakfast sandwiches made-to-order, along with salads, wraps, fresh fruit, pastries and gourmet coffee. This is also the place to shop for basic essentials from batteries to newspapers.

Five New Multimedia Light and Sound Shows

Tropicana has partnered with world-renowned Moment Factory to bring guests five new fantasy themed Multimedia Light and Sound Shows. The new shows made their debut Memorial Day weekend and play nightly on Boardwalk every half hour beginning at dusk.

Havana Tower Guest Rooms

Coordinating with The Quarter’s overall Havana theme, all 500 rooms and suites in the Havana Tower have received a contemporary redesign. From modern new furnishings, woven wall coverings, innovative carpeting and spa-inspired bath fixtures to new paint, draperies, bedding and signature bath linens, the transformed Havana Tower rooms embrace the colors and textures of the Cuban marketplace.

Tropicana Entertainment also announced it the reopening of Sultan’s Feast Buffet at its recently acquired Taj Mahal casino. The restaurant is set to begin operations on July 1 at the CF level, on the terrace next to the Ocean Bar.

Sultan’s Feast Buffet, a once popular dining location at the Taj, is a decadent buffet that will be serving classic summer favorites all summer long, the release said.

“Back by popular demand, we have been eagerly awaiting for the re-opening of guest-favorite, Sultan’s Feast, to the Taj Mahal,” said Tony Rodio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana Entertainment, management company of Taj Mahal. “The guests wanted it back, and we’ve listened.”
