Tropicana Entertainment Inc. has entered into a strategic relationship agreement with San Francisco-based mobile and social games developer Ruby Seven Studios to develop and launch an online social gaming site.
The agreement will allow Tropicana to bring immersive, casino style branded gaming experiences to its existing customers, and will enable players around the world to access Tropicana’s free casino style games via mobile, Facebook and personal computers, the company said in a press release.
“We’re very excited about this venture,” said Tony Rodio, President and CEO of Tropicana. “We’ve been studying the social gaming sector for some time, and are enthusiastic about the potential to provide even more entertainment options by pooling Tropicana’s talent for delivering exciting land-based gaming and entertainment with Ruby Seven Studio’s extensive expertise in social and mobile game publishing.”
Tropicana Atlantic City already offers two real-money online gambling sites in New Jersey including TropicanaCasino.com and a second site through a partnership with Virgin Group at VirginCasino.com.
