Lightning may not strike twice in the same spot, but apparently online progressive slots jackpots do in New Jersey.
A West Milford, New Jersey woman hit a $66,295.92 progressive jackpot while playing the Wonderland slot game with TropicanaCasino.com on March 17. It was her second big win on the slot in two years.
Identified as only Lisa Y., she first hit the Wonderland jackpot in July 2014, scoring $85,191.81. She told Tropicana it is “an absolutely amazing feeling” to win that much money and that used a portion s for a vacation to Disney World in Orlando.
According to Lisa, she was chatting on the phone with her uncle when she hit the progressive prize for the second time, bringing her total win to more than $151,000 with TropicanaCasino.com.
“I’ve seen lucky players and I’ve seen lucky slots, but Lisa and Wonderland are clearly a winning combination,” said Steve Callender, General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City in a press release. “This double win is proof that luck can strike multiple times when you play with Tropicana.”
