Pechanga Development Corp. the development arm of the Pechanga Resort and Casino near Temecula in Riverside County, California has chosen the building contractor for its 5 million expansion: Tutor Perini Building Corp.
Pechanga has worked with Tutor Perini before on other phases of the resort, including the original resort that opened in 2002. A new wing will be added, including a 568-room hotel, a luxury spa, a fitness center, pool complex, more dining and more convention space. The expansion is expected to be completed in 2017.
Tutor Perini Building Corp. is a subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation.
Patrick Murphy, president of the Pechanga Development Corporation hailed the development, “Perini was the general contractor for the original Pechanga resort that opened in 2002. This development will complement our current offerings, enhance the resort experience for guests, and cement Pechanga Resort & Casino as the preeminent luxury gaming destination in California.”
