U.K. Agency Suspends Two Licenses

The U.K. Gambling Commission suspended two operator licenses for failing to fully comply with the GamStop self-exclusion system. This action comes after notification to all online operators to take steps to incorporate GamStop by March 31.

The suspended companies include Dynamic and Sportito. The latter has since gotten on board and had the suspension lifted, according to Gambletool.

“We have made it clear to operators that we are ready and willing to use our powers to protect consumers, as this action demonstrates,” said Gambling Commission CEO Neil McArthur. ‘’Self-exclusion is an important tool to protect vulnerable consumers, which is why we made it compulsory.”

The commission review is still ongoing.
