The U.K. Gambling Commission began an investigation of Genesis Global Ltd. July 21 for unspecified violations of its license conditions. As a result, Section 118 of the Gambling Act requires Genesis to suspend all operating licenses related to online casinos, real event betting and virtual sports wagering, effective July 20, according to SBC News.
“We suspect that Genesis Global Ltd. is unsuitable to carry on the licensed activities…pending conclusion of a review,” the commission said in a statement.
