British market research company YouGov reports that the pandemic that began last year has caused a huge shift among gambling consumers to online gaming—and online lotteries in particular.
The report, which examines the gambling behaviors of 13 of the most prevalent countries in the world, was conducted alongside Prolific North.
Some 42 percent of all respondents claimed they had played any form of lottery online within the last 12 months, outperforming sports betting (36 percent), online casinos (13 percent) and bingo (11 percent).
