UK Racecourses Hoping for Big Crowds with Restrictions Eased
Three tracks in Britain expected large crowds July 19, the day when lockdown restrictions eased nationwide. The tracks have not had such attendance since March 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic struck. Beverley racecourse head Sally Iggulden (l.) expects crowds at the 2019 level.
