Ukraine Launches National Exclusion System

Gamblers in Ukraine can exclude themselves and be excluded from playing under a new register. It was launched by Ukraine’s Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL).

Ukraine Launches National Exclusion System

Ukraine’s has launched a register to exclude those who are not permitted to gamble, including those who exclude themselves.

The register allows players to exclude themselves from six months to three years. Family members can also add loved ones to the list if they provide supporting evidence of unpaid child support payments, large unpaid debts or other evidence. Courts can also add players to the list.

The exclusion register was authorized by Ukraine’s Gambling Act, which became law in 2020 after many years of gambling being illegal in the country.

Some operators have gotten licenses, including Parimatch and Cosmolot, but tax rates have yet to be established.
