Union Gaming Hires Three Analysts

Gaming-focused investment bank Union Gaming Group, based in Las Vegas, recently hired Chris Jones as managing director and head of equity research in North America. The company also added John DeCree and Steve Maniago to its expanded research division.

Union Gaming Group of Las Vegas, an investment bank dedicated to the gaming industry, recently added three analysts to its expanded research division.

Chris Jones was named managing director and head of equity research in North America. Previously he held a similar position at Telsey Advisory Group. Union Gaming co-founder Bill Lerner said, “Chris is a seasoned analyst possessing deep technical skills, fundamental insights and extensive corporate relationships. He delivers the type of research product, actionable ideas, and unique industry perspective that we are thrilled to be adding to the global platform.”

Gaming analyst John DeCree, who worked with Jones at Telsey, also will join Union Gaming. Jones and DeCree will be based in New York.

Also joining Union Gaming’s research division is Steve Maniago, who most recently was  director of business development and finance for the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development. Maniago will be based at Union Gaming’s Las Vegas office.

The three new Union Gaming analysts will work with Grant Govertsen, head of the company’s equity research team, and based in Macau.

With offices in Las Vegas, New York, Hong Kong and Macau, Union Gaming is comprised of equity research, sales and trading, investment banking and gaming-related market and economic analyses divisions. The company also advises on mergers and acquisitions, private placements and equity and debt offerings.
