Valley Forge Casino Names CEO

The Valley Forge Casino Resort has named Atlantic City and Connecticut casino operations veteran James A. Rigot as the new president and CEO.

Pennsylvania’s Valley Forge Casino Resort has named James A. Rigot as the property’s new president and chief executive officer.

Rigot is a veteran casino operations executive, having served in key roles at Harrah’s Resort, Trump Plaza and the Borgata in Atlantic City, Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut and Parx Casino at Philadelphia Park.

Rigot replaces Mike Bowman, who stepped down to become president of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board. Chief Financial Officer Alex Figueras and Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Galle had been serving in dual leadership roles on an interim basis.

Rigot said he will focus on building the casino-resort’s business growth by improving the property and amenities. He is taking over after last month’s opening of the casino’s $600,000 poolside destination, the Valley Beach Poolside Club, a 20,000-square-foot investment.

“While this is an incredibly competitive industry, I could not be more excited to take the lead at a property with so much positive momentum,” Rigot said. “I’m thrilled to be able to put my experience to work at Valley Forge Casino Resort to continue to build on our strong business success and exceed our guests’ expectations.”
