Valley Forge Hires Foxwoods’ Pearson

Eric Pearson, previously vice president of gaming and revenue enhancement at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, has been named president and chief executive officer at Valley Forge Casino in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Pearson also served as vice president of gaming and acting general manager at Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Washington.

Valley Forge Casino in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, recently named Eric Pearson president and chief executive officer. Most recently Pearson served as vice president of gaming and revenue enhancement at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, where he oversaw operations and finances of gaming and arcade operations and strategic and loyalty marketing. He also directed the launch of Foxwoods’ redesigned social casino platform.

Prior to Foxwoods, Pearson was vice president of gaming and acting general manager at Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Washington. He also held leadership roles at several Las Vegas casinos.

Valley Forge’s board of directors stated Pearson was chosen for his qualifications and experience, “which align with the forward-looking direction of the resort.” Pearson said, “This is an incredible opportunity in a dynamic market. Valley Forge Casino Resort is well positioned for continued growth and I’m excited to bring my ideas and energy to collaborate with this creative, customer-centric team.”

Valley Forge posted more than $114 million in revenue from slots and table games in the fiscal year ending in June, up from $109 million the previous year.
