The Ukrainian Ice Hockey Federation and sportsbook VBET have announced they are partnering in a campaign to rebrand the national hockey league and boost the sport’s stature among fans.
Their stated goal is to “restore ice hockey’s status as one of the most popular sports in Ukraine, to attract the youth to it and inspire the devoted ice hockey fans. And one of the most important parts of popularizing ice hockey, just as any other sport, is cooperation with the national team brand.”
Federation President Heorhii Zubko said the new partnership is “determined to make a new brand of Ukrainian national ice hockey
team. We have plenty of ideas just waiting for their time. I think this partnership will bring us quite high results.”
Anton Svitlychnyi, head of VBET Ukraine partnership development added, “Everyone dreams of working with our country’s main ice hockey team, and our company is no exception. … We hope that with the new partnership, great victories and new challenges are waiting for our team.”
VBET is also a partner of the Ukrainian Football Premier League, the Ukrainian Football Cup and the Super Cup.
