Vegas Casino Launches Marker Trax

The Ellis Island Hotel Casino and Brewery property-wide launched Marker Trax 3.0 on July 10. The product is a cashless alternative to the traditional casino marker and was developed by Gary Ellis, chief executive officer and founder of Ellis Island.

The product combines convenience for players with reduced risk for casinos to issue advances while integrating easily with the existing casino operating systems. The property completed a trial run with the product last December, during which guests signed up to get early access to the technology.

Ellis issued this statement: “This launch is a true testament to how much I – and we, as a property – believe in this innovation.” He added, “Our guests will see that we are celebrating this milestone – not only because it marks a seismic shift in technology here on-property, but this is only the beginning of incredible things to come for Marker Trax.”

Version 3.0 is the latest version, offering a new mobile app for players and for casino operators a new dashboard that allows player analysis and reporting.

Marker Trax recently announced a partnership with Sightline Payments which offers a credit option for sports wagering and online casinos, within Sightline’s Play+ mobile app. The credit option will be introduced with selected casino partners.
