JC Hospitality LLC, owner and asset manager of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton and private, full-service investment, development and management group, has promoted Chad Brown to chief marketing officer and Chris Cosenza to senior vice president of strategy and business development within their corporate leadership team.
Brown previously served as the vice president of marketing for JC Hospitality, leading the integrated resort marketing team and internal agency for Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. In his new role as chief marketing officer, he continues these responsibilities and oversees brand growth and marketing penetration for JC Hospitality LLC. He also leads the development of new brands, marketing and promotional strategy for the company’s growing portfolio of investment, development and management initiatives.
Brown has over two decades of hospitality marketing experience, including holding multiple marketing executive positions within MGM Resorts International prior to joining JC Hospitality LLC.
In this new role as senior VP of strategy & business development, Cosenza will work alongside COO Gary Scott in developing strategic opportunities for JC Hospitality LLC and be the operational focal point for the company’s business development initiatives.
Cosenza previously served as the company’s vice president of strategic planning & analysis, where his core responsibility was the oversight of third-party tenants and operators at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from concept through development, construction and into day-to-day operations.
Before joining JC Hospitality, Cosenza spent the bulk of his career at Ameristar Casinos. In this time, he held corporate leadership positions in entertainment, nightlife, player development, guest experience and strategic development and led the company’s iGaming initiative prior to Ameristar’s acquisition by Pinnacle Entertainment.
While at Ameristar, Cosenza was the project director for the company’s strategic marketing partnership with MGM Resorts International, successfully integrating each company’s rewards programs across 16 total properties nationwide.
“Both Chad and Chris have been instrumental in the transformation of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, bringing decades of experience and a wealth of knowledge to our entire team,” said Scott. “I have been fortunate to work beside them and have great trust in their expertise as JC Hospitality continues to expand our portfolio of developments and investments.”
