Veteran sports executive Len Mead has been appointed as the new general manager of VSiN, the Nevada-based sports betting network, the company announced.
As part of his new role, Mead will oversee everything from programming to integration and partnerships.
Prior to joining VSiN, Mead served as vice president of content for PointsBet, where he managed partnerships with networks such as NBC Sports and Action Network. He also worked for the XFL, the professional football league with partnerships with FOX Sports and ESPN, among others.
In a statement, VSiN CEO Brian Musburger said that Mead “has excelled at creating original content and growing audience across all platforms throughout his career,” and that his combined media and sports betting experience will help VSiN deliver its premium sports betting content to even more bettors, on more platforms, in new ways.”
Mead called his new network “a leader in credible, intelligent betting content,” and added that he was “looking forward to expanding our audience and serving bettors of all levels everywhere as they connect with sports.”
