Washington Casino Unveils Gaming App

The Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington, operated by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, will introduce a revolutionary new Smartphone app created by Playport Gaming Systems. It will allow players to play casino games from anywhere, although they won’t be able to cash in unless they are on the property.

Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington will soon deploy what it says is the first online gaming app that will allow players to gamble anywhere on their Smartphones, although they will only be able to make cash transactions at the casino itself.

The tribal casino is working with Playport Gaming Systems and will introduce the app later this fall. Games like bingo, where players don’t play against the house will be featured. Such games are Class II gaming, which means that they are entirely under the jurisdiction of the federal government.

The app is not the first online gaming app, but it is the first to use the concept that the player may only deposit money or cash out at the home casino.

Playport provides services at several retails in Mexico and now the U.S. It can design customized apps for each casino and integrate existing point of sale and loyalty programs.
