Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, Washington opened , its Turf Club Sports Book on December 4. Former Los Angeles Lakers great Robert Sacre placed the ceremonial first bet.
The new lounge includes an array of television screens, live betting along with kiosks throughout the building. Digital screens keep track of the latest odds. Soon the casino will be able to take mobile bets on the premises using an app.
Kevin Zenishek, Northern Quest’s executive director of casino operations, said in a statement that the Kalispel Tribe, “were proud to work closely with other tribes across the state as we all found a meaningful way to responsibly bring legal sports betting into Washington.”
