Washington Tribe to Open $27 Million Hotel In December

A five-story, 125-room hotel is under construction at the Puget Sound-area Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington, Washington. Owned by the Stillaguamish Tribe, the $27 million hotel will open in December. General Manager Travil O'Neil said guests have been asking for a hotel at the 10-year old casino.

The Stillaguamish Tribe announced it will open a five-story, 125-room hotel at its Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington, Washington, in the Puget Sound area, in December. The million hotel will add more than 100,000 square feet to the facility, which opened in 2004.

Casino General Manager Travis O’Neil said casino guests have been asking for the hotel for a long time. DreamCatcher Hotels designed the project which will be constructed by Exxel Pacific.

The Stillaguamish Tribe reinvests profits from the casino into the community. Over the years it has donated more than $6.2 million to the Arlington Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club and other organizations.
