William Hill Australia is trying out a new feature called “Click to Call” to allow players to use their phones to make in-play bets, rather than making the bet online.
Australia’s Interactive Gambling act bans online in-play bets, but not bets made over phone lines.
Australian gamblers can activate their device microphone and then go to William Hill’s live betting page where they would make their bet selection. Once selected, players simply click the ‘Call to Place Live Bet” button to make the bet.
