William Hill Expands Spanish League Sponsorships

William Hill Plc is expanding its Spanish market profile and will sponsor seven La Liga 2 (Segunda) football clubs for the upcoming season. Las Palmas and UD Almeria clubs both announced a sponsorship deal with the UK bookmaker.

William Hill Plc is expanding its Spanish market profile and will sponsor seven La Liga 2 (Segunda) football clubs for the upcoming season.

The management of UD Las Palmas and UD Almeria recently announced they had reached an agreement with the UK betting group to become their lead betting partner for the upcoming 2019/2020 La Liga 2 season.

The release disclosed that William Hill had also signed partnership agreements with a number of Segunda teams including Real Zaragoza, Extremadura UD, AD Alcorcon, Elche CF and Albacete Balompie.

William Hill did not release details of the agreement, but said it will maintain an “enormous enthusiasm” in the “professional challenge” of becoming the standard benchmark for Segunda betting partnerships.
