The retail division of leading bookmaker William Hill has reached an agreement with Australian third-party slot design firm Lightning Box Games, under which William Hill will offer Lightning Box titles at retail betting shops across its estate.
Under the partnership, William Hill initially will roll out Lightning Box titles Silver Lion Deluxe and Panda Power Deluxe across its 2,300 U.K. locations. It is the largest U.K. content deal to date for Lightning Box, which predicts its titles will be fully integrated by Q2 2017.
“I’m delighted to sign the agreement with William Hill, which gives us an important breakthrough in the U.K. market, as well as the chance to do true omni-channel releases to William Hill’s online, mobile and retail players,” said Peter Causley, Lightning Box managing director and co-founder. “Our games have been very popular with players and casino owners across multiple channels in Europe and North America, and I’m confident they will be well-received by British audiences too.”
