William Hill US announced that Kenneth Fuchs will become president of the company’s digital wagering operations.
Fuchs had been CEO of STATS, which provides sports data and ancillary products to Google, Apple, Amazon, ESPN, Microsoft, New England Patriots, and Golden State Warriors. STATS also provided technology to William Hill, the company said in a press release.
Fuchs also held senior management positions with Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Entertainment and Music, overseeing day-to-day operations for each division. At Yahoo, Fuchs led the development and growth of its fantasy sports business, the release said.
“Ken has a proven record at leading technology/media companies and a strong digital background that will allow us to continue to innovate and enhance our digital offerings as additional states legalize sports betting,” William Hill US CEO Joe Asher said in a press release.
William Hill US operates 108 sports books in Nevada and has launched sports book operations in New Jersey, Mississippi, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island and serves as the exclusive risk manager for the sports lottery in Delaware.
