Win Systems Hires Reig, Aranda

Win Systems, a technology and gaming supplier based in Barcelona, Spain, recently announced it has hired Carlos Reig as corporate director of operations (Gaming) and Jose Luis Aranda as managing director of Gold Club Gaming in Slovenia. Chief Executive Officer Eric Benchimol said the hires are part of the company's aggressive global business expansion plan.

The Barcelona, Spain-based technology and gaming supplier Win Systems recently hired Carlos Reig as corporate director of operations (Gaming) and Jose Luis Aranda as managing director of Gold Club Gaming in Slovenia.

Reig brings to Win Systems nearly two decades of industry experience. In his new position he will be responsible for overseeing strategy and day-to-day gaming operations. Most recently he served as director of operations at PlayCity in Mexico and also has worked at Codere. “The next few years at Win Systems are set to be very exciting and I look forward to helping contribute to the success of the company,” Reig said.

Aranda will manage Gold Club’s activity in Slovenia, where most of its operations currently originate. Previously Aranda spent nine years at Scientific Games, where he rose to the position of regional director. He also worked at CIRSA Interactive and GTECH. “I will endeavor to continue Gold Club’s well-deserved reputation in the casino industry as we embark on an ambitious growth strategy in the coming years,” Aranda said.

Win Systems Chief Executive Officer Eric Benchimol stated, “The past 12 months have been record-breaking for Win Systems in terms of commercial growth and I am thrilled to welcome Carlos and Jose Luis into our business to help build on this momentum.”

Benchimol added Win Systems has been actively seeking experienced industry personnel as part of its aggressive global business expansion and ongoing integration of Gold Club, which was acquired in late 2016. He said Win Systems’ workforce will reach 350 by the end of the year, an increase of more than 20 percent since the start of the year. Win Systems has offices in Spain, Slovenia and Mexico, plus remote workers in the U.S., Argentina and Peru.
