Wind River Casinos Close Due To Covid-19 Surge

The Northern Arapaho Business Council closed its Wind River Hotel & Casino (l.) and other gaming venues from November 9 through November 30 due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in Fremont County, Wyoming. Council Chairman Alee Spoonhunter said tribal health authorities suggested the casinos be closed. No layoffs, furloughs or pay reductions have been implemented.
